I would like to report that all Icons in UserListIcons are shortened to 17 Pixels wide and 20 Pixels Long when users prefixed with an unsupported mode enter a channel. This does not occur for non-prefixed user, but to all users on a channel whom contain a person with modes that are +y and +Y on my IRC server (Non- qhaov modes). Basically, a small part of the icon is cut off from the bottom of each user's icon under this circumstance. If you should need help investigating this (using my IRCd), please respond to this Issue report.

It appears in addition to the problems with prefixing, the same issue occurs on join with only supported mode types. It appears to take the image two be loaded twice for it to fully load. I.e. normal user joins the channel, 17 PX width displays, when another person is to join or user with 17 PX image /cycle's the channel or leaves and rejoins it, the image is fully loaded. This may be an error in how LightIRC gets these image files, don't know. Please check into this new information.

I have the same problem. I tried to use larger icons (35x35), fetched from the user's avatar in my forum. In general, this seems to be possible, as it displays nicely after a user has joined the channel. However, immediately after loading the chat, only the top part is displayed. I attached a screenshot.
I don't think that the image itself is cropped as the nickname is centered vertically. For this, the height of the image must be known. I think there might be a UI refresh missing after the image has been loaded so the height of the list item can be set correctly. A different way would be set the height of the list items manually, but I did not find a way to do this.
Hope this can be fixed. :)
