paramsURL light irc customization parameter or how to easily add parameters to an iframe.
So apparently to setup lightirc there's an "iframe" option - where you place the URL or directory and enter the parameters, and there's a "config.js" or "config.php" option.
To insert the style CSS in an iframe you can add the parameter "&styleURL=default.css" for example; So you don't have to enter all of those parameters in the iframe.
It'd be nice if you could insert the "config.js" in an iframe by adding the parameter "&configURL=config.js" for example; So you don't have to enter all of those parameters in the iframe.
I do have html files with iframe and the xhtml that inserts the "config.js" parameters working.
The "config.js" file also has "function" parameters. There doesn't seem to be a way to insert that into an iframe, either.
So I'd like to do an iframe. Even if it has a lot of parameters filling up the html file; That can be self-contained in the "config.js" file.
But I'll probably do the html4 or xhtml setup of "config.js"; In case I need the "function" parameters in the future. I don't know.
I just sort of hoping that I could use a mostly-self-contained iframe that redirects to the configuration parameters; As it does with the style parameters.
I like iframes because they're easy and you usually don't have to setup other things on the page. You can just copy and paste. That's it. It's great.
Maybe I'm missing something. Maybe I just can't find it. But I looked it up and I can't see it.
So I made this post and put it under the tracker "feature". Because I can't find it. But if it's there then change it to "support", or "bug", or something.
I also made the priortiy "High". 1 level above normal. I also assigned "Valnetin Manthei"; the author; If that helps anything. But anyone can help with this.
Here's a mock-up example of what I'm working on.
I replaced some things with some default lightirc values. Because I am shy and private. But I posted it here; In hopes that more will be interested in this.
Also I attached an html file to this message. If you view the source-code in the web-browser - then it's the same. But if you save the html file to view it - it changes. In my experience.
Also. I'm not an expert on coding, etc.. I'm probably at the "beginner" level. But I know a little bit. - So any advice welcome. Hopefully I'll get it.
Too Long; Didn't Read: There's a "styleURL" parameter that can be used with an iframe. So it'd be nice if there was a "paramsURL" parameter that can be used with an iframe.
Please help me.

Well I can't find a way to "edit" this post. So I'll do an "update" with what I was going to add.
Edit: Also I wanted to ask if it was possible to add the "function" parameters in the iframe window without using the "config.js" file. And, if so: how to do it?
